  • Vegetable broth - 500 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cumin powder and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the fresh green peas and vegetable broth to the pot, bringing the mixture to a boil.
  5. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, until the peas are tender.
  6. Remove the pot from heat and stir in the fresh mint leaves.
