- Zucchini - 1, diced

- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced spicy chicken sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced red bell pepper and zucchini to the skillet. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Stir in the minced garlic, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to combine well. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh parsley and lemon juice before serving.
