- Spaghetti - 200 grams
- Mixed seafood (shrimp, mussels, calamari) - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Red bell pepper - 1, diced
- Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 2 liters
Steps
- Bring 2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt.
- Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the diced red bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the mixed seafood and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and opaque.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes start to soften.
- Mix in the cooked spaghetti and toss everything together for 2 minutes, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
- Remove from heat, stir in the lemon juice and chopped cilantro, and serve immediately.
