- Chicken breast - 200 grams, diced

- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Orange juice - 100 ml
- Lemon juice - 50 ml
- Zest of 1 orange
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Chickpeas - 100 grams, cooked
- Fresh parsley - 30 grams, chopped
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the diced chicken breast to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- Stir in the orange juice, lemon juice, orange zest, lemon zest, cumin, and cinnamon. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked chickpeas and pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine everything well. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
