- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms (button or cremini) - 200 grams, sliced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Vegan cheese (optional) - 50 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are tender and any liquid has evaporated.
- Stir in the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper, and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and mix in the chopped mint leaves.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top the sauce with the sautéed mushroom and mint mixture, and sprinkle with vegan cheese if using.
- Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve warm.
