  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground ginger - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Ground lamb - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Dried apricots - 50 grams, chopped
  • Almonds - 30 grams, slivered
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Harissa paste - 1 tablespoon
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Black olives - 30 grams, sliced

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, water, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and salt. Whisk until smooth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Add the ground lamb to the skillet, cooking until browned. Stir in cumin, coriander, cinnamon, ginger, and chopped dried apricots, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and mix in slivered almonds and harissa paste. Adjust seasoning with salt if needed.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F). Spread the chickpea batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, creating a round pizza base.
  6. Bake the crust for 10-12 minutes until slightly golden.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the lamb mixture evenly over the top. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese, sliced black olives, and chopped parsley.
  8. Return to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the toppings are heated through.
  9. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
