  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon

  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable broth - 200 ml

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic, julienned carrot, and sliced red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in the diced tomato, ground cumin, ground cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes to allow the spices to bloom.
  4. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it cook for 5 minutes to develop the flavors.
  5. Add the white fish fillets and shrimp to the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the seafood. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the shrimp are pink.
  6. Drizzle honey and lemon juice over the seafood, then sprinkle with chopped cilantro and parsley before serving.
