- Roasted red bell peppers - 200 grams
- Walnuts - 100 grams
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Bread crumbs - 50 grams
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place the walnuts on a baking sheet and roast them in the oven for about 10 minutes until fragrant and slightly browned.
- Remove the walnuts from the oven and let them cool.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted red bell peppers, cooled walnuts, garlic, olive oil, bread crumbs, cumin, paprika, salt, and lemon juice.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
- Serve with warm bread or pita.
