Ingredients

  • Roasted red bell peppers - 200 grams
  • Walnuts - 100 grams
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Bread crumbs - 50 grams
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the walnuts on a baking sheet and roast them in the oven for about 10 minutes until fragrant and slightly browned.
  3. Remove the walnuts from the oven and let them cool.
  4. In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted red bell peppers, cooled walnuts, garlic, olive oil, bread crumbs, cumin, paprika, salt, and lemon juice.
  5. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
  8. Serve with warm bread or pita.
