- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Lettuce leaves - 2
- Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
- Yogurt (for serving) - 50 grams
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped red onion, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined, then form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden brown color.
- While the burgers are cooking, toast the whole wheat burger buns in a separate pan until lightly golden.
