  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Pomegranate seeds - for garnish (optional)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, coriander, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Rub the marinade generously over the quails, ensuring they are well-coated, then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the quails from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  5. Grill the quails for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
  7. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and garnish with chopped cilantro and pomegranate seeds before serving.
