Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Red onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
  • Feta cheese - 30 grams, crumbled (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into florets. Steam or microwave until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once cooked, drain any excess moisture from the cauliflower and blend it in a food processor until it reaches a rice-like consistency.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
  5. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Stir in cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until spices are fragrant.
  9. Add tomato paste and diced bell pepper to the beef mixture, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  10. Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and spread the beef mixture evenly on top. If desired, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the beef.
  11. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  12. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and slice to serve.
