Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Red onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
- Feta cheese - 30 grams, crumbled (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into florets. Steam or microwave until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Once cooked, drain any excess moisture from the cauliflower and blend it in a food processor until it reaches a rice-like consistency.
- In a bowl, combine the cauliflower, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well and spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, forming a pizza crust about 1 cm thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until spices are fragrant.
- Add tomato paste and diced bell pepper to the beef mixture, stirring to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Once the crust is done, remove it from the oven and spread the beef mixture evenly on top. If desired, sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the beef.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and slice to serve.
