- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon

- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1/2, grated
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped mint, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and grated cucumber in a small bowl. Add salt to taste.
- Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Warm the pita bread in the same skillet for about 1 minute on each side.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty in each pita, topping with yogurt sauce and halved cherry tomatoes.
