- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Ground lamb - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Red bell pepper - 1, sliced
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, ground lamb, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the lamb is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Distribute the cooked lamb mixture evenly over the cheese.
- Add the remaining mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and sliced red bell pepper on top.
- Drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
