Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Ground lamb - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red bell pepper - 1, sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic, ground lamb, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until the lamb is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  7. Distribute the cooked lamb mixture evenly over the cheese.
  8. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and sliced red bell pepper on top.
  9. Drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  11. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.
