Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Grated Parmesan cheese - 50 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Rice the cauliflower using a food processor or a grater until fine. Steam it for about 5 minutes to soften, then let it cool.
  3. Once cooled, squeeze out excess moisture from the cauliflower using a clean kitchen towel.
  4. In a bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, grated Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the egg. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.
  5. Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a round pizza crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and firm.
  6. While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
  7. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Stir in cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld the flavors.
  9. Remove the crust from the oven and spread tomato sauce evenly over it. Top with the seasoned beef mixture, diced bell pepper, and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  10. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
