Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 300 grams
- Grated Parmesan cheese - 50 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 small, diced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Rice the cauliflower using a food processor or a grater until fine. Steam it for about 5 minutes to soften, then let it cool.
- Once cooled, squeeze out excess moisture from the cauliflower using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, grated Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and the egg. Mix well to form a dough-like consistency.
- Spread the cauliflower mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, shaping it into a round pizza crust. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden and firm.
- While the crust is baking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to meld the flavors.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread tomato sauce evenly over it. Top with the seasoned beef mixture, diced bell pepper, and the remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
