  • Frozen peas - 300 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - 20 grams, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 100 milliliters

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the frozen peas to the saucepan and stir to coat with the garlic oil.
  3. Pour in the water, then add the ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Stir well.
  4. Cover the saucepan and let the peas cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the peas are cooked, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the chopped mint and fresh lemon juice.
  6. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then serve warm as a side dish.
