Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 400 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Cucumber - 1/2, grated
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped mint, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped parsley, and lemon juice. Season with salt to taste and set aside as a sauce.
  4. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill the lamb patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Serve the minted lamb burgers with the yogurt sauce on top or on the side, along with your favorite gluten-free sides.
