Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 400 grams
- Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Cucumber - 1/2, grated
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped mint, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 2 cm thick.
- In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, chopped parsley, and lemon juice. Season with salt to taste and set aside as a sauce.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the lamb patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the minted lamb burgers with the yogurt sauce on top or on the side, along with your favorite gluten-free sides.
