Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 400 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 50 grams, finely diced
  • Fresh cilantro - 10 grams, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped mint, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two burger patties and refrigerate for about 10 minutes to firm up.
  3. While the patties are chilling, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and diced cucumber in a small bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and set aside.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked and have a nice golden brown crust.
  5. Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve the minted chicken burgers on a plate, topped with the yogurt sauce and garnished with chopped cilantro.
