  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 100 grams, diced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 15 grams, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped mint, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the beef patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cucumber yogurt sauce by mixing diced cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Once the burgers are done, let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  6. Serve the minted beef burgers with a generous dollop of cucumber yogurt sauce on top.
