- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Fresh mint leaves - 30 grams, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 100 grams, diced
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 15 grams, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped mint, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the beef patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cucumber yogurt sauce by mixing diced cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the burgers are done, let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Serve the minted beef burgers with a generous dollop of cucumber yogurt sauce on top.
