Steps
- In a small saucepan, combine the almond milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with a few tablespoons of cold water until smooth.
- Once the almond milk mixture is warm, gradually whisk in the cornstarch mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Continue to cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens (about 5-7 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in the orange blossom water.
- Pour the mixture into serving dishes and let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours until set.
