Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 300 grams
- Ground beef - 200 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Burger buns - 2, dairy-free
- Cucumber - 1/2, diced
- Tahini - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Water - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cucumber-tahini sauce. In a small bowl, mix diced cucumber, tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if needed.
- Toast the burger buns lightly in a separate pan or under the broiler until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with the cucumber-tahini sauce, and serving immediately.
