Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2, dairy-free
  • Cucumber - 1/2, diced
  • Tahini - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cucumber-tahini sauce. In a small bowl, mix diced cucumber, tahini, lemon juice, water, and salt until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more water if needed.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly in a separate pan or under the broiler until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topping with the cucumber-tahini sauce, and serving immediately.
