Ingredients

  • lamb mince - 300 grams
  • beef mince - 100 grams
  • garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • salt - 1 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the lamb mince and beef mince with minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and mold each portion around a skewer, forming a cylindrical shape.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the skewers and massage it in gently to coat them evenly.
  5. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 71°C (160°F) and they are nicely browned.
  7. Remove from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
