Ingredients
- lamb mince - 300 grams
- beef mince - 100 grams
- garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- cumin - 1 teaspoon
- coriander - 1 teaspoon
- paprika - 1 teaspoon
- cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- salt - 1 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the lamb mince and beef mince with minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and mold each portion around a skewer, forming a cylindrical shape.
- Drizzle olive oil over the skewers and massage it in gently to coat them evenly.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 71°C (160°F) and they are nicely browned.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
