- Merguez sausages - 4 pieces (about 300g)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon wedges - 2, for serving
Steps
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Coat the Merguez sausages evenly with the marinade and let them sit for 5 minutes.
- Place the sausages on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 70°C).
- Remove the sausages from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- Slice the sausages diagonally and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve the Merguez Grillée with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
