- Ground lamb - 300 grams
- Merguez spice mix - 2 tablespoons

- Whole wheat burger buns - 2
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Cucumber - 1/2, grated
- Romaine lettuce - 2 leaves, shredded
- Tomato - 1, sliced
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, merguez spice mix, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and slightly charred.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by combining Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and grated cucumber in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Toast the whole wheat burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing the lamb patties on the bottom half of each bun. Top with shredded romaine lettuce, sliced tomato, and a generous dollop of the yogurt sauce. Place the top bun on each burger.
- Serve immediately with your choice of side.
