- Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
- Ground lamb - 150 grams
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon - 1, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the ground lamb to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
- Stir in cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to a desired thickness.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top the sauce with the cooked lamb mixture, followed by the sliced bell pepper and zucchini.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the vegetables.
- Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
