Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Ground lamb - 150 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the ground lamb to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook for about 5 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper, cooking for an additional 2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to a desired thickness.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Top the sauce with the cooked lamb mixture, followed by the sliced bell pepper and zucchini.
  8. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the vegetables.
  9. Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
