  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 5 minutes, until translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to combine.
  5. Pour in the canned white beans along with their liquid, and add the water.
  6. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  7. Stir in the chopped parsley and lemon juice just before serving.
