Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 400 grams
  • Fresh parsley - 30 grams, finely chopped
  • Fresh mint - 15 grams, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely grated
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped parsley, chopped mint, minced garlic, grated onion, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients well using your hands until fully combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form long kebabs.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the skewers and gently rub it in to coat the meat.
  5. Preheat a grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through.
  7. Serve immediately with a side of yogurt sauce and fresh vegetables.
