- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for brushing)
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, chopped red onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly with your hands until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer, forming long oval shapes.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Brush the skewers lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the kefta skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
