Ingredients
- Thin phyllo pastry - 4 sheets
- Almonds (finely ground) - 100 grams
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Orange blossom water - 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Unsweetened almond milk - 100 ml
- Chopped pistachios (for garnish) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the finely ground almonds, honey, orange blossom water, and cinnamon powder until well combined to create the filling.

- Spread half of the almond filling over the layered pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Carefully fold the edges of the pastry over the filling to create a rectangular parcel. Brush the top with olive oil.
- Place the parcel on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and repeat the process with the remaining phyllo sheets and almond filling to create a second parcel.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle with almond milk and garnish with chopped pistachios before serving.
