- lean ground beef - 250 grams
- onion, finely chopped - 1 small (about 70 grams)
- fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- paprika - 1 teaspoon
- salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, parsley, cilantro, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the meatballs in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook the meatballs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.
- While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the yogurt dip by mixing Greek yogurt with lemon juice and cumin powder in a small bowl.
- Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the skillet and serve hot with the yogurt dip on the side.
