Ingredients

  • lean ground beef - 250 grams
  • onion, finely chopped - 1 small (about 70 grams)
  • fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, parsley, cilantro, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the meatballs in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Cook the meatballs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the yogurt dip by mixing Greek yogurt with lemon juice and cumin powder in a small bowl.
  6. Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the skillet and serve hot with the yogurt dip on the side.
