Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 200 grams
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, salt, cumin, and paprika.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and olive oil until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Fold in the chopped cilantro and half of the sesame seeds, mixing evenly.
  6. Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a round loaf about 1.5 cm thick.
  7. Place the loaves on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle the remaining sesame seeds on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
