Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 250 grams
  • Tapioca flour - 50 grams
  • Baking soda - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, tapioca flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix well to ensure all dry ingredients are evenly distributed.
  2. Add water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky but manageable.
  3. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each into a round flatbread, about 1 cm thick.
  5. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top of each flatbread, gently pressing them in to adhere.
  6. Transfer the flatbreads to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
