Ingredients

  • Ground turkey - 400 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
  5. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the avocado and crumble the feta cheese.
  6. Once the patties are done, assemble each burger by placing a patty on a large lettuce leaf, topping it with sliced avocado and crumbled feta cheese.
  7. Wrap the lettuce around the burger and serve immediately.
