- Ground turkey - 400 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, garlic powder, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 75°C (165°F).
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the avocado and crumble the feta cheese.
- Once the patties are done, assemble each burger by placing a patty on a large lettuce leaf, topping it with sliced avocado and crumbled feta cheese.
- Wrap the lettuce around the burger and serve immediately.
