- Ras El Hanout spice blend - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Iceberg lettuce - 4 large leaves (for wrapping)
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Cucumber - 100 grams, sliced
- Greek yogurt - 100 grams
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Ras El Hanout, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form them into burger patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped cilantro in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
- To assemble, place each burger patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices, and drizzle with the yogurt sauce.
- Wrap the lettuce around the filling to create a burger and serve immediately.
