Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Chopped walnuts - 50 grams
  • Pitted dates - 30 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 2 large
  • Sliced tomato - 1 medium
  • Sliced cucumber - 1 small

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped walnuts, pitted dates (finely chopped), garlic powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce, tomato, and cucumber for serving.
  5. Once cooked, remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
