Ingredients
- Pizza dough - 200 grams
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Harissa paste - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with onion, garlic, cilantro, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top with the cooked meatballs and sliced bell pepper.
- Spread the remaining mozzarella cheese on top and drizzle harissa paste over everything.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve warm.
