Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cilantro - 30 grams, chopped
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Harissa paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with onion, garlic, cilantro, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top with the cooked meatballs and sliced bell pepper.
  8. Spread the remaining mozzarella cheese on top and drizzle harissa paste over everything.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve warm.
