  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.
  4. While the meatballs are cooking, prepare a simple dipping sauce by mixing the remaining olive oil with lemon juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
  5. Once the meatballs are cooked, serve them hot with the dipping sauce on the side.
