  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Heavy cream - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. While the patties are cooking, chop the cauliflower into florets and steam for about 10 minutes until tender.
  5. Drain the cauliflower and place it in a food processor with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper to taste. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  6. Serve the kefta patties over the cauliflower mash, drizzled with the remaining olive oil.
