Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Cauliflower - 400 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 1 tablespoon
- Heavy cream - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small patties, about the size of your palm.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- While the patties are cooking, chop the cauliflower into florets and steam for about 10 minutes until tender.
- Drain the cauliflower and place it in a food processor with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper to taste. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Serve the kefta patties over the cauliflower mash, drizzled with the remaining olive oil.
