  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon (optional, for a touch of sweetness)
  • Almonds - 30 grams, toasted and chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Clean the lamb liver by removing any membranes and cutting it into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion, cooking until translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the ground cumin, coriander, cinnamon, turmeric, paprika, salt, and black pepper, cooking for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
  5. Add the liver pieces to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently, until they are browned and cooked through.
  6. If using, drizzle the honey over the liver and mix well to combine.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with the toasted almonds and chopped parsley before serving.
