Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Garlic cloves - 2, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (if wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, minced garlic, chopped onion, parsley, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the olive oil and lemon juice to the mixture, and use your hands to mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion around a skewer to form kebabs.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Once hot, place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then serve warm.
