Ingredients
- Chicken breast - 400 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)
Steps
- Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chopped parsley to create the marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and mix well to ensure they are evenly coated. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
