Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and chopped parsley to create the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes and mix well to ensure they are evenly coated. Cover and let marinate in the fridge for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
