- All-purpose flour - 200 grams
- Warm water - 120 ml
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, ground cumin, ground coriander, and paprika.
- Make a well in the center and add the warm water and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Incorporate the chopped parsley and cilantro into the dough, kneading until evenly distributed.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and roll each piece into a flat round shape (about 0.5 cm thick).
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each flatbread for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
