  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Paprika - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a food processor, combine the cooked fava beans, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, and cumin.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if necessary to achieve desired consistency.
  3. Add the chopped cilantro and parsley, and pulse a few times to mix well.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and blend again briefly.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.
