Ingredients

  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 300 grams
  • Fresh cilantro - 30 grams
  • Fresh parsley - 30 grams
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a blender or food processor, combine cilantro, parsley, garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to make the chermoula marinade.
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined.
  3. Place the shrimp in a bowl and pour half of the chermoula marinade over them. Toss to coat evenly and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
