- White fish fillets (such as cod or haddock) - 300 grams
- Fresh cilantro, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the chopped cilantro, parsley, minced garlic, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper to make the chermoula marinade.
- Place the fish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the chermoula marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Remove the fish from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the fish on the hot grill.
- Grill the fish for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the fish from the grill and let it rest for a minute before serving.
