- Cauliflower - 1 large head
- Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Tahini - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem, then slice the cauliflower head into 2 cm thick 'steaks'.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to create a marinade.
- Brush both sides of the cauliflower steaks generously with the marinade.
- Place the cauliflower steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
- While the cauliflower is grilling, prepare the herb sauce by mixing the chopped cilantro, parsley, lemon juice, tahini, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- Once the cauliflower steaks are cooked, remove them from the grill and drizzle with the herb sauce before serving.
