- Almond flour - 150 grams
- Powdered sugar - 50 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Orange blossom water - 1 tablespoon
- Aquafaba (chickpea brine) - 3 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, powdered sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the aquafaba, orange blossom water, and vanilla extract until frothy.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Using your hands, form small balls of dough (about 2.5 cm in diameter) and roll them in sesame seeds to coat.
- Place the coated balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm apart.
- Gently press each ball to flatten slightly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
