  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 100 milliliters
  • Vegetable oil (for frying) - 500 milliliters
  • Lemon wedges (for serving) - 2 wedges
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, paprika, ground cumin, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Gradually add water to the dry mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms.
