Ingredients

  • Ground chicken - 300 grams
  • Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
  • Burger buns - 2 units
  • Lettuce - 2 leaves
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Tahini sauce - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fennel seeds, cumin powder, coriander powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the chicken mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and they are golden brown.
  4. While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in another pan until golden.
  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
  6. Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
