- Ground chicken - 300 grams
- Fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
- Burger buns - 2 units
- Lettuce - 2 leaves
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Tahini sauce - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, fennel seeds, cumin powder, coriander powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the chicken mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and they are golden brown.
- While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns in another pan until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, cucumber, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
