- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 2-4 tablespoons (as needed)
- Paprika - for garnish

Steps
- If using dried fava beans, soak them in water overnight, then drain and rinse. Cook the fava beans in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes until tender. If using canned, skip this step.
- In a food processor, combine the cooked fava beans, tahini, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, and salt.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, adding water a tablespoon at a time to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley for garnish.
- Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or crackers.
