  • Zucchini - 2 medium, spiralized

  • Ground lamb - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground lamb to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Mix in the tomato paste, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper, stirring to combine well.
  6. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  7. In the last minute of cooking, add the spiralized zucchini to the skillet and toss gently until heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  9. Serve warm, topped with crumbled feta cheese if desired.
